At Westcoast Fishing Tackle, we stand behind the quality and performance of our fishing rods. Our warranty program is designed to provide fair and efficient support for anglers while recognizing the demanding conditions our products are used in.
Mooching Rod Warranty Policy - Fury 9' & 10'6"
Current Generation Mooching Rods – Tip Replacement Program
All current generation mooching rods are eligible for a $30 warranty replacement tip program.

The original broken tip section must be surrendered at the time of replacement.

Replacement tips are available through authorized Warranty Rod Depots.

Rod tips may only be replaced with the corresponding current generation model tip.
Warranty Rod Depot Locations
Replacement tips are available through participating retail Warranty Rod Depots.
Authorized depot locations will be listed below:

River Sportsman - Campbell River
WCFT Warehouse/Retail Store - Parksville
Customers located outside of British Columbia or outside of authorized depot service areas may deal directly with our Parksville, BC warehouse location for warranty processing. Lower Section Breakage Mooching Rods – 1 Year Warranty
If the bottom section of a mooching rod breaks within 1 year from the original date of purchase, the rod may qualify for a full rod replacement, subject to inspection and approval by the authorized Warranty Rod Depot.
Warranty decisions are made at the sole discretion of the depot and manufacturer based on:

Nature of the breakage

Signs of misuse or abuse

Manufacturer defect evaluation
Proof of purchase may be required.
For customers outside of British Columbia or outside of authorized depot service areas, warranty claims may be processed directly through our Parksville, BC warehouse. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges related to warranty inspection and replacement.
Out-of-Warranty Mooching Rod Program
For mooching rods outside of the 1-year warranty period:

Customers may receive a $100 credit toward the purchase of a new replacement rod.

This program is handled exclusively through our Parksville, BC warehouse location.

The damaged rod must be submitted for evaluation prior to approval.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the warranty claim and replacement process.
Jigging Rod Warranty Policy - Spartan, Bellator, PJS63i
1 Year Limited Replacement Warranty
All jigging rods include a 1 year limited replacement warranty against manufacturer defects.

Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

Coverage applies only to failures determined to be caused by manufacturer defect.

Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, accidental damage, impact, high sticking, neglect, or normal wear and tear is not covered.
All warranty determinations are made at the discretion of Westcoast Fishing Tackle and/or the authorized warranty depot.
Customers located outside of British Columbia or outside of authorized depot service areas may process warranty claims directly through our Parksville, BC warehouse. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty service and replacement.
Out-of-Warranty Jigging Rod Credit Program
After the 1-year warranty period has expired:

Customers may receive a $100 credit toward the purchase of a new jigging rod.

This program is available only through our Parksville, BC warehouse.

The original damaged rod may be required for evaluation.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the replacement process.
General Warranty Terms

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise approved.

Unauthorized modifications or repairs

Cosmetic wear and tear

Westcoast Fishing Tackle reserves the right to inspect all rods before approving warranty replacement or credit.

Replacement products may vary slightly from original models due to product updates or availability.

All shipping costs associated with warranty claims, inspections, tip replacements, or rod replacements are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated by Westcoast Fishing Tackle.
