Community Support & Fishing Derby Donations

Westcoast Fishing Tackle (WCFT) is proud to support local fishing derbies, clubs, and community organizations that promote ethical angling, conservation, and positive engagement within the fishing community.

To ensure consistency and fair use of our brand, all approved donation recipients must review and agree to the following Media Kit and Brand Usage Guidelines.

Eligibility for Support

  • Fishing derbies and tournaments
  • Registered clubs, groups, and societies
  • Community-led fishing or conservation initiatives

Support may include:

  • Product donations (tackle, lures, rods, or prize packs)
  • Discounted product access
  • Promotional support through WCFT social channels (when applicable)

All requests are reviewed individually and approved at WCFT’s discretion.

Brand Recognition Requirements

Logo Usage

  • WCFT logo must be used on event posters, flyers, digital promotions, and on-site signage (when applicable)
  • Logos must not be altered, stretched, recolored, or modified
  • Logo placement must remain clear, legible, and proportional

Social Media Recognition

  • Tag @westcoastfishingtackle in WCFT-related posts
  • Use collaborative posts where possible (Instagram Collab encouraged)
  • Acknowledge WCFT as a sponsor or supporter pre-event and post-event

Minimum expectation:

  • One (1) pre-event recognition post
  • One (1) post-event thank-you or recap post

Content Sharing

WCFT may repost or share event content featuring WCFT products or branding. Credit will be given where possible.

On-Site Event Guidelines

  • WCFT signage or banners should be displayed in visible, high-traffic areas
  • WCFT-donated products should be identified as Westcoast Fishing Tackle prizes during announcements

Brand Usage Rules

  • No modification of WCFT logos or branding elements
  • No use of WCFT branding in connection with unsafe, illegal, or unethical fishing practices
  • No political messaging or content conflicting with conservation values

WCFT reserves the right to request removal of branding if guidelines are not followed.

How to Apply for Support

To request donations or support, please complete our application form:

Requests should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event date.

Agreement & Acknowledgement

By submitting a donation request or accepting support from Westcoast Fishing Tackle, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You have read and understand the WCFT Community Support & Brand Usage Guidelines
  • You will use WCFT logos and branding in accordance with the Media Kit
  • You will provide social media and event recognition as outlined above
  • WCFT support does not constitute sponsorship beyond the agreed contribution
  • WCFT may decline or discontinue support if guidelines are not followed
